Workshop Detail
The Art of Landscape Photography
For all levels of photographer
Details:
In this workshop we explore the art of seeing in landscape photography and what makes a great landscape:
varying compositions
the effect of different light
the atmosphere
We consider how to use various photographic techniques that suit the differing vistas and light conditions, such as lens choice, use of HDR, making panoramas, focus bracketing & stacking.
For when conditions are not ideal, we help you develop the ability to see more intimate landscapes, seeing in black & white, and what an infra-red filter might provide.
We have included an online pre-session covering the key elements of the workshop, where we will take you through the various approaches, techniques and objectives that the workshop & book have, this will be PowerPoint presentation, discussion and Q&A with your workshop lead. This will mean you can begin practicing right from the start of the actual in the field workshop, optimising your shooting time
All participants are given a copy of “Making Sense of the Landscape: The Art of Seeing” – a printed book that accompanies and supports the workshop, authored by your workshop leader, Eddie Hyde.
